Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Remindme app (package name dev.mariam.schedulereminder, the “App”) handles your information. Your privacy matters.

In short The App collects no personal data and works entirely offline.

Information we collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The App has no account system and no sign-in. It does not request the Android internet permission and makes no network connections of its own. We do not use analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking of any kind.

Your data stays on your device

All tasks and reminders you create are stored only on your device. This data never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or to any third party. If you uninstall the App, this data is removed with it. You can delete any individual task — or all of your tasks — at any time from within the App.

Your tasks are also excluded from Android cloud backup and from device-to-device transfer, so they are never copied off your phone — not even by the system.

Permissions

To deliver your reminders at the exact time you choose, the App uses Android alarm and notification permissions:

Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) Used to trigger your reminders at the precise scheduled time.

Notifications Used to display a reminder when a task is due.

Run at startup Android clears all scheduled alarms when your phone restarts or the App updates. This permission lets the App re-schedule your existing reminders afterwards so none are silently lost. Nothing runs in the background otherwise.

These permissions are used solely to show your reminders on time and for no other purpose. They are not used to collect or transmit any information.

Third-party services

The App integrates no advertising networks and no analytics or crash-reporting services. It includes one Google library, Play In-App Review, used solely to show the Play Store’s own “rate this app” prompt. The prompt is displayed and handled by the Google Play Store app; the App itself sends nothing and receives nothing about you, and any communication during that flow is governed by Google’s privacy policy.

Google Play may likewise collect certain information when you download or update the App. That data is also governed by Google’s own privacy policy, not this one.

Opening the support email or a link from the App’s settings hands off to your own email or browser app; what happens there is governed by that app’s policy.

Children’s privacy

The App does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads and no content unsuitable for a general audience.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
